Quaker Meeting House, Lancashire

Some time ago I visited the Quaker Meeting House in Crawshawbooth. My Great Grandmother (Hannah Briggs) lived there at the time of the 1881 census. It’s a tranquil place steeped in history and bothered by occasional flooding.

Have a look at their website. Meanwhile here’s the entry from the 1881 census
